Studio 30 Marketing Content + Social
About · Studio 30 Marketing

Four people. Eleven industries. A studio for local ambition.

Founded 2021
Ltd. 13606612

We started Studio 30 because the agencies doing social for local businesses treated them like afterthoughts. We thought those rooms deserved the editorial craft that enterprise brands pay millions for. We still think that.

The story

One voice. One studio.

2021 - today

Studio 30 began in a borrowed corner of a Bermondsey co-working space in spring 2021. Abid Ahmed had spent eight years running content for UK brands - big ones and small ones - and kept finding the same thing. The small ones were being underserved. The big ones were paying ten times more for nearly the same work. Somewhere in the middle there was a studio waiting to exist.

The first client was a dental practice in Islington who had hired two agencies before us and fired both. They told us they felt like a line item. We told them we'd treat them like the only one. That client is still with us, six years later, and has a six-figure valuation swing attributable to content we made together.

We've grown slowly on purpose. We turn away more work than we take. The team is four people. The roster is eleven industries. The average engagement is three years. We pick clients we'd invite to dinner.

The template-grid era of local business social is over. The rooms that win the next decade will be the ones whose feed reads like editorial craft, not content calendar Bingo. - Abid Ahmed, Director
Our clients come for the numbers and stay for the craft. If the numbers weren't there we'd close. If the craft wasn't there we shouldn't. - Studio principle, year one
How we work · Three principles

What we believe.

Since 2021
P.01 · Voice first

Every account gets a voice sheet before a single post ships.

The fastest way to look like everybody else is to skip the voice. We spend week one of every engagement with a voice sheet. Five-page document. Every copywriter on our team writes from it. If the voice breaks, the engagement breaks.

P.02 · Measurable or nothing

No engagement ships without a measurement dashboard.

We install analytics. We set baselines. We report monthly. If we can't measure it, we don't pitch it. Our close rate for new engagements is high because every client who signs knows exactly what number we're moving.

P.03 · Small on purpose

Four people, eleven industries, three-year average engagement.

We turn away most inbound. We scale by deepening, not by headcount. The senior person who pitches you is the senior person shipping the work. There is no junior layer. There is no account manager between you and the craft.

P.04 · Editorial respect

Your feed is a magazine, not a content calendar.

Every account we run is treated like an editorial publication. Cover stories, columns, departments, a beat. Not "three posts this week because that's what the template says."

The roster.

Bermondsey
Four desks, one window
Director · Founder

Abid Ahmed

Founded Studio 30 in 2021 after eight years running content for UK brands. Writes the voice sheets. Picks the restaurants we shoot in. Still answers every new-client email personally.

Since 2021
Head of Production

Nadia Okoro

Runs every shoot day. Ten years in food photography before she joined us. If the reel looks like a film, Nadia cut it. If the still looks like Cereal Magazine, she styled it.

Since 2022
Strategy Lead

James Lonsdale

Builds the measurement dashboards. Runs the Monday strategy standups for every client. Came from a performance-marketing agency where he got tired of the numbers being the only thing in the room. Here, they're only one of the things.

Since 2023
Community + Copy

Mira Velasquez

Handles every client's community management. Writes most of the captions. Trained as a magazine editor. Doesn't post a caption she wouldn't print.

The short history.

Studio log
2021 · Spring

Studio 30 is founded in a Bermondsey co-working corner.

First client is a dental practice in Islington. First invoice £1,400. We still have both.

2022 · Autumn

Nadia joins. The production craft lands.

First shoot day for a Clerkenwell restaurant. Twelve hero reels, eighty stills, one day. The shoot-day-as-content-factory model becomes the studio's signature.

2023 · Summer

First measurement dashboard ships.

James builds the first Studio 30 measurement stack. Every client on retainer gets one. "Measurable or nothing" becomes a principle.

2024 · Autumn

Mira joins. The voice sheets formalise.

The voice sheet becomes a week-one deliverable for every new engagement. First principle codified.

2025 · Spring

Revenue milestone - first client to attribute six figures to our work.

Northfield Gym reports £12,000/month in attributable member revenue. The measurement stack pays for itself a hundred times over.

2026 · Today

Four people. Eleven industries. Three-year average engagement.

Still picky. Still small. Still Bermondsey.

If this sounds like your kind of studio, we'd like to say hello.
